I didn’t said that Sony Studios do american football games, I just wanted to point that this difference in frames per sec. in PS3 isn’t due to lack of power from the console, but yes because Madden game programmers are to dumb to make good code in PS3, or maybe they got a call from M$... Knowing how M$ plays I houldn’t be surprised. It’s like that well knowed american video game analist that allready admitted how well he is treated by M$...

I’m not sure that FLV is the best format to perform a comparison video in. FLV’s stuttering and lowered quality makes it difficult to do a true comparison.

I’m not Anti American, I love American Movies, TV series, Coke-Cola, Big Macs, etc… I am anti-america egocentrism and lack of hown opinion from American journalist and analists, each time I go to google news search for news I find these kind of pathetic articles, completely biased and totaly non-professional, this one in particular is not the worst, this one is just stupid, and there are the American news sites/blogs that seems so interested in bash a company (sony), why? Well, or because they are to damn patriots and will always deffend the mother company (M$), or because they just sell their opinion for a few bucks, even Game analist Pachter or patcher or whatever it is admited in fron of the cameras that “M$ trates me very well and when I have something bad to comment about them I trie to do it in a positive way!”, well, that simply prooves that he is a BAD professional, because this industry is not about how well a company treats jornalists or analists, is about TRUTHS…  and Microsoft knows how american minds work and will keep corrupting the journalists and analist to support their console, that is why I’m mad about “america”, I’m so ####### tired of sensacionalism! Nuklear weapons in Iraq, global terrorism, Iran nuklear plants, bla bla bla, when in fact the reason are OIL OIL OIL, it seems american government thinks they can illude people that all they want is to protect the world…. yeah right, if they want to do that they could sign the ambiental treats and not keeping contributting with 50% of all world pollution! I am from the U.S.  I’m not sure how your goverment is organized, but we have two main parties here.  Democratic and Republican.

In a survey - over 90% of the media are democrats.  This means, that they will have a tendency to “spin” the news towards there way of thinking.

Listening to your comments, you would be a democrat - so, the “news” in America would agree with you.

This is why you puzzle me a bit.  Over half our nation is on your side…mostly from the very start!

But, what is interesting is - if Bush and his “cronies” would have been right…that sure would have changed the worlds thinking.

Anyway - also, Madden 2008 is based on the number one sport in America.  You wouldn’t understand our love for the diversity/stratedgy and excitment of the game.  Probably, because the schools you’ve been brought up didn’t put any emphasis on the game.

American football (IMO) is by far the greatest game ever invented.  Are you tall?  Perhaps your talents would be good as a receiver.  Are you LARGE - maybe you’d be a good lineman.  Are you average size…average build, perhaps you could be a skilled kicker.

American football brings an amazing complexity to a hard action game.  It brings together our neighbors for “friendship” time - even though their physique is different that ours…we shared experience in playing the same game.

I think if you just cared…and did a little more study on the sport, you’d gain more respect for it.

Oh, btw…I hate the EA sports as a company.

You are right in one point, in fact I don’t have a clue how Madden is played and I can’t unserstand the excitment around that game/sport, I’m from Portugal, the country of soccer super stars like Cristiano Ronaldo or Luis Figo, but honestly I don’t like soccer either, but soccer has a big inpact in Europe as a video game, so I know where you are trying to reach with your comment.

And maybe you are right about the political aspect of our conversation, but in fact, the media in America is a very weard thing, I can’t no more trust in nothing I read from american news fonts, there are just to much rumors and hate and fanboysm, even in the “professional news sites”.

Maybe one day if I go to America someone will explain me how exciting can a Madden game be.

About the topic, I hadn’t see the video till today (was posting using my PSP), I really still don’t understand why all that fuzz because of that framerate difference, the news should be:

EA made PS3 version of Madden look worse than the Xbox360 one, why and how can that be?
I’d love to see EA anser to that, Moore is going there, EA is the biggest software house for consoles… I don’t know… something is rott in the kingdom of Denmark.

I was a big DOOM and QUAKE fan - so I respect John Carmacks as one of the founders of the FPS genre.  Although, you’ll see some common comments like: “you’re a moron” responses to Carmacks statements.

But, I think he could be right.  For the developers to squeeze out the best performance out of the PS3…they have to work harder…(perhaps too hard).

Also, when I stated that the “media” was 90% democrat - that’s strictly speaking Television coverage.  There are more Republican Radio shows…and I have no idea the diversity on the internet.
