God of War and SOCOM 4 on PS3
CVG reports that SOCOM 4 and a new God of War will be coming to the PS3. SOCOM 4 is rumored to be due out at PS3’s launch, while God of War is a bit further behind and won’t see a release until later on. Also, look for SOCOM 4 to be on display at E3. Additionally, not abandoing its PS2 base, Sony is also rumored to be working on PS2 versions of the upcoming titles. We think that’s a good idea considering how many people own PS2’s. Sony certainly won’t abandon the PS2 platform anytime soon.

Socom 4? Yet another rehash of a poor conflict Desert Storm clone. If that’s the future of Sony online gaming, it’s not looking that promising to me.

Are you serious? “a poor conflict Desert Storm clone”????? HAHAHHA Where have you been? If you log onto Socom 3 online any evening, especially on the weekends there are around 25,000 (give or take, because I’ve seen higher) people logged on..
If it’s so poor someone should let all of us know that live on there…
Socom is awesome and I think anyone could get addicted.. I have never sat and played any video game for more than say an hour, I’m on Socom every night for atleast 4…..

i was never a fan of socom 3 but socom 2 and 3 were prob my fav games ever… ive sat down and played for 5 hours one time… good game! i think socom 4 should wait for a while because i think it will be the same as socom 3 just dif missions.
