GameDaily Biz CEO, Mark Friedler, believes that the video game business is broken. In a recent article he lists 5 reasons that the industry is in trouble.

- Perception of games as media
- Upside down metrics
- Increased risk means decreased creativity
- Growing the market
Mark has certainly hit the nail on the head with his points and reasoning, but does not give the solution to fix the video game business. This is the 2nd of a 3 part series, in the third piece he will delve deeper into the pricing practices of the video game industry.
